29th April 2004 Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas Wind Direction: N Wind Stength: 12 knots Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: 8ºC Sea Temperature: 10ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Decided to knock off work early today and get to the beach early as I've managed to miss loads of decent wind this week despite trying to get out. I was working in Aberystwyth over looking the sea and the sun was shining and a good Force 6 was blowing... On my trip along the coast road to Borth it seemed as though there was less and less wind the closer I got to Borth, so I was begining to get a little annoyed and think I'd managed to miss it yet again. On the beach there was around 15 knots so i rigged my 6.3m sail and my 100 litre board and got out there.... The wind had dropped and I couldn't get going... Grrrrrrr..... Packed up and went home. |
